Dripping Springs ISD After-School Enrichment Classes

Dripping Springs ISD

Fall semester registration is open now!

About Our Classes

      • We offer after-school enrichment on selected school campuses through Dripping Springs ISD's Community Education program. (Some campuses may not be offered due to classroom availability.)

  • We visit your student’s campus once a week, for one hour. We offer one 8-week session each semester. Each session covers different lessons, vocabulary, and model building activities. There are no repeats from previous sessions!
    • Class lessons are independent, so if a student is absent, he or she will be able to successfully participate in future classes. However, makeup classes will not be offered.

  • We do not offer extended-day or 5-day programs. Students who are registered to attend the Kids Club after-school care program will be checked into that program on-site, after our class is finished.

     Fall 2018 Class Description:

LEGO® enthusiasts will learn to build models that move! Students complete a new LEGO building challenge each week and learn to use robotics components to control their creations. Each 6-week session includes new themes and lessons (no repeats!), creative LEGO exploration time, project and lesson email summaries for parents, and a custom LEGO minifigure to take home. (Building kits are re-used each week, so they don't go home. Building kits are available to purchase at the end of the session.)
